Rag and Bone: The illicit trade in dancefloor psychedelics
Recycling long lost beats together with brand new one-offs to create a fusion of party pleasing cult rump shakers and twisted psychosis. Welding the gaps between Turkish Electro and SpaceGhostpurp, New York amyl saturated No Wave with acid fried southern hiphop, analogue freakbeat and digital haze, cult obscurities and ramped up cosmidelics.
Rag and Bone is the coming together of Tom Hyena, co-runner of Onomatopeia (with Finders Keepers boss Doug Shipton) and Paul Hanford (Tago Mago owner). Paul was Head Music Consultant for Secret Cinema for four years as well as blogging (bringmecoffeeortea.com), presenting radio shows (http://www.mixcloud.com/londonfieldsradio/imaginary-soundtracks-vol-11/) and DJing around the East, the West and internationally.
Friends for years, they have decided to join forces for Rag and Bone, fusing together their combined collections to transform White Rabbit (formerly Baby Bathhouse) into a psychedelic disco of mythical mayhem!
