An afternoon of wild, unplugged mischief with the pUKEs and Whiskey Wild Eyes.
The pUKEs are a ukulele anti-society for punks who play songs by likes of Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Clash, Xray Spex. etc like you never heard em before.
Feel free to bring your uke and strum along. The setlist and uke tab will be available to download at http://www.thepukes.co.uk/.
The Whiskey Wild Eyes play punked-up country, like the bastard sons of Johnny Cash. Check out their music here http://www.reverbnation.com/whiskeywildeyes
Hackney Secular Singers are (near as dammit) a punk choir with an ever-expanding repertoire of classic songs from the Kinks to the White Stripes. Check them out at http://www.hackneysecularsingers.org.uk/hackney-secular-singers/
PLUS veggie BBQ, kid friendly garden, punk/ska/reggae sounds…and maybe some sunshine.
